This beautiful, vintage shoot was styled and planned by the talented Caitlin Verette Photography. Driving to Colorado Springs at 4 in the morning was completely worth the beautiful sunrise we were able to experience. It was freezing, so we had to jump and dance to keep warm, but the results couldn't be more worth it.
The amazing Allie of Allie & John Photography reached out to her Instagram followers to see if any models were available. I was lucky enough to snag the spot and the magic we created was completely worth it! Allie and her beautiful daughter told more than the story we see below on film.
The beautiful flowers are the work of art of Lumme Creations. The dress, if you can believe it, was snagged at a bargain price from H&M. Hair and makeup done by the model.

It's not every day you have the ability to cuddle with an alpaca. It's also not every day that your alpaca likes your husband more than you... No worries! Murray more than made up for it with his elegant stature and adorable fur coat. The blazing sun was not a hindrance to the incredibly talented photographers, who captured every beautiful detail with ease.

When Hannah came to explore Colorado, we just knew that we had to get some beautiful views. The weather at Boulder Foothills park played along perfectly, coating the foothills in a shroud of mist. Even though it was a little chilly, frolicking in the tall grass gave us all the heat we needed to ensure some steaming photographs.

It was fate when we went to D.C. to look at law schools and were able to join Sarah Shank and her husband on a styled shoot at a beautiful Virginia manor. If this property could talk, it's stories would never end - the sweeping fields, croaking staircase, and historic books were an ideal setting. Sarah was switching from digital to film, capturing dreamy moment after moment. The gorgeous dress, new from Alexander Grecco's collection, was paired with a stunning ring from Suzie Saltzman. Yisell Santos hand made the floral headpiece from fresh, aromatic blooms designed and provided by Violet Gardens. This is one for the books!

There is something almost surreal about the years following World War II. An unexplainable freedom the likes of which the world hadn't seen before, one which permeated gender, race, and fashion. Something has been drawing us to sunrise shoots and this was no exception! Unfortunately, due to weather restrictions, we were unable to go to the magical Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, however, Red Rocks Amphitheater provided views no less magnificent. A week after returning from a two-month trip to a different continent, we met with Courtney and explored the beautiful ravines of the park.

Waking up before sunrise is always a bit curious - will you have the willpower to roll out from under the warm blankets and prepare yourself for an unknown day? We're so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to spend an early morning with Carissa Marie, the day I was heading out for a seven week long trip across the world. Greeting the warm rays of the sun and frolicking in the tall grass of the Colorado foothills made for an excellent bittersweet goodbye.

It's always so nice to meet new stunning people who've been bitten by the same creative bug as us. On a recent trip to Twin Cities in Minnesota, we met half of the talented Oxen and Alder. Skyler was a dream to work with and made us feel so special. The gorgeous bouquet was from the Eau Claire farmers market. The dress was found at a thrift shop. Skeumorpic creative made the crown. The entire shoot was so creatively lax - running into the woods and spinning on the shore was the perfect way to greet the sunset.
